GODALMING & DISTRICT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DONATES £1000 TO THE MEATH EPILEPSY CHARITY

Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce is delighted to have been able to present a donation of £1000 to The Meath, based in Godalming. The Chamber regularly picks a local charity to work with and The Meath is the latest charity to benefit from this policy.

John Taylor, President of Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Godalming Chamber of Commerce is delighted to present The Meath Epilepsy Charity with a cheque for £1000 following on from them being our chosen charity of the year. We hope this donation will go towards enriching the lives of many of their residents, especially given the very challenging times that charities have endured over the last few months”.

Helen Jackson, Marketing & Communications Manager, The Meath Epilepsy Charity: “We are hugely grateful to Godalming Chamber of Commerce for their generous donation and for thinking of The Meath Epilepsy Charity during one of the most challenging times in history. Now that it is possible to do so, we look forward to being able to take part in some of the Chamber’s town events again and to being able to work together to help increase awareness of the many different businesses and organisations that together make Godalming such a special community”.

The cheque was presented on 20th October at The Meath to Helen Jackson, Marketing & Communications Manager and Lucy Miguda, Fundraising Manager by Matthew Pactat and Stefan Reynolds from the Chamber’s Management Committee.
